The Last Barrier; A Journey into the Essence of Sufi Teachings

This 25th anniversary edition features a new foreword by Coleman Barks, the foremost modern interpreter of the Sufi poet Rumi, as well as a new preface by the author. Reshad Feild left the aristocratic roots of his native England at an early age to begin a life-long mystical search that took him around the world to Zen monasteries in Japan, the Himalayas in Nepal, Sufi mystics and whirling dervishes in Turkey, and the Gurdjieff and Ouspensky schools in England.
